Hi! I’m Camille, a rising senior at Stanford University majoring in Urban Studies and minoring in Chinese. Two summers ago, I lived in Taipei to study Chinese at NTU. That summer made me fall in love with the city of Taipei and all it has to offer, and so I am returning this summer to conduct independent research for my honors thesis, which focuses on stories of Taipei during the 1990s and 2000s, a time of rapid urbanization, democratization, and globalization. I chose Borderless House because I care a lot about having a shared living space, and believe it will enhance my sense of community and local engagement during my stay. In my free time, I love to memorize Chinese rap lyrics, write book reviews online, go hiking, and explore urban spaces. Nice to meet everyone!請繼續讀
