Maokong One of the famous place for Chinese traditional tea~ Maokong~ Maokong is a famous producing area for Chinese traditional tea. There are a few dozens of Tea restaurants and you can enjoy traditional tea with local atmosphere. Moreover, there is a ropeway in Maokong and you can get a full view of Taipei city from the ropeway. Why not enjoying traditional tea and view of Taipei in this spring?

The hometown of a lantern~ Shifen ~ I would like to recommend you to visit Shifen one of the most popular spot in Taiwan. It takes aournd 1 hour from the center of the Taipei by train. Shifen is famous for a lantern. There are a lot of lantern shops and anybody can get it and send a lantern flying with your message! Especially, flying lanterns at night are really fantastic, so Shifen is really popular for tourists. Let’s visit here with your housemates and feel Taiwan culture!

Local market you can enjoy cheap and delicious cuisine ~ Night market~ One of the famous thing in Taiwan is Night market. There are a tons of restaurants and shops which make you feel local atmosphere in Taiwan. The most famous and biggest night market in Taipei is Shilin night market, just around 12 min from Taipei main station. It’s too big to see all shops in one night but you can visit there several times and get local food and souvenirs in this market!
