Hello! I’m an 18-year-old student from the United States (Maryland). I’ll be studying microbiology at university next fall. Right now I only speak English, but I’ll be attending a language school while I’m here and I’m excited to start learning Japanese. In my free time, I enjoy gaming and anime a lot, but I also like staying active with hiking, the gym, and sports like soccer and volleyball. I picked up photography a year ago too and I’d like to try skateboarding at some point. I am hoping to meet people with similar interests who enjoy going out and doing things, but also like to relax and chill. こんにちは！アメリカのメリーランド州出身、18歳の学生です。今年の秋から大学で微生物学を勉強する予定です。 今は英語しか話せませんが、日本にいる間に語学学校に通うので、日本語を学び始めるのをとても楽しみにしています。 暇な時はゲームやアニメが大好きですが、ハイキングやジム、サッカーやバレーボールなどのスポーツをしてアクティブに過ごすのも好きです。1年前に写真を始めました。いつかスケートボードにも挑戦してみたいと思っています。 似たような趣味を持っていて、外に出て活動するのが好きな人や、のんびりリラックスして過ごすのが好きな人と出会えたら嬉しいです！

On weekdays, I work as an intern at a company where I manage online advertising, and I also study quantum mechanics at university. ② I mainly speak Japanese. I can speak a little English, and I’m currently studying Italian. ③ I enjoy all kinds of physical activities, especially soccer, kickboxing, weight training, and running. I also like studying languages, watching anime and reading manga, listening to K-pop and bands, and reading books. I always go to the gym on weekends! ④ I enjoy listening to others and would love to connect with many people! I’m interested in language learning and staying active. Hi! I've been in Japan for roughly 10 years now and have lived in Borderless houses for 9 of those years. The time in their houses has been some of the best! I work at a Japanese foodstuff trading company, taking care of exports. I am fluent in English and Japanese, and speak a tiny bit of Chinese. My hobbies include ice skating, going to the beach, hiking, studying, and eating. Hoping to pick up sailing sometime in the semi-near future.
